Floating Ideas celebrated at 5VIE Party in Milan

As part of Milan Design Week 2022, Gabriel Scott held a launch party to celebrate the Floating Ideas presentation which brought together six new design collaborations which form the Welles Reimagined lighting collection.

Along with friends and clients of the studio, international designers and contributors Kelly Hoppen, Sybille de Margerie, Michelle Gerson, Alessandro Munge, Guan Lee as well as the team from Rockwell Group were all in attendance during the event.

Gabriel Scott chose a gallery venue in Milan's oldest district Cinque Vie to present the studio's latest collection - Welles Reimagined throughout Milan Design Week.

Situated close to the Duomo, this area got its name because of its function as the confluence of a number of streets: Via Santa Marta, Via del Bollo, Via Bocchetto, Via Santa Maria Fulcorina and Via Santa Maria Podone. Providing an impressive concentration of galleries, craft and antique shops, ateliers and artist studios, the district was a natural choice of venue location.

Welles Reimagined is a celebration of Gabriel Scott's 10 year anniversary, with six top international designers reinterpreting the studio's most iconic lighting fixture, the Welles Chandelier.
