The Luna Kaleido series, a customisable modular series includes two stackable glass lighting fixtures: a horizontal chandelier and a vertical pendant, has won the Lighting category at the Society of British and International Interior Design (SBID) Awards 2022.
The Luna Kaleido's mouth-blown glass beads can be ‘strung’ together in any order to create a bespoke glowing piece of jewellery for any home or hospitality project.
Versatility and customisation are at the core of the Luna Kaleido's design concept. The lights are available in six shapes, all named after constellations (Dorado, Lyra, Aras, Cygnus, Orion and Carina). The collection is inspired by a kaleidoscope, which comes from the Greek words for kalos (beautiful), eidos (form), and skopeo (to look at). Like a kaleidoscope, the glass shapes have been designed to offer infinite interpretations of tone, shape and refracted light. When stacked, the lights become a glass mosaic with varying tones and patterns.
The SBID International Design Awards has firmly established itself as one of the most prestigious interior design awards in the global design calendar.

This contemporary interior showcases two elegant Luna Kaleido pendant lights by Gabriel Scott in size large, which serve as the focal point of the image. The pendants feature unique, sculptural glass forms - one with a tapered shape and the other with a more rounded, textured design. Both lights are suspended from brass fixtures, adding a touch of luxury to the space. Below the pendants, a sleek black console table with a marble top anchors the scene. The table is adorned with carefully curated decor items, including a small teal bowl, a minimalist gold circular ornament, and a white sculptural vase. A striking black and white geometric print in a thin frame leans against the wall, complementing the modern aesthetic. The clean white background highlights the intricate details of the Luna Kaleido pendants, emphasizing their artistic quality and the interplay of light through their glass forms.
