Kelly Boukobza is the founder of Paris-based design studio KY Architecture who deliver residential and contract projects across Paris, Saint-Tropez, Avignon, Deauville, Geneva, and Meribel.
KY Architecture's latest client brief was to design a Parisian, family-friendly apartment with an architectural universe. To support the aesthetic, Gabriel Scott's Luna Chandelier was chosen for its glass architecture, and Luna A Small Pendants were used as bedside lighting.
Designer Kelly Boukobza comments: "The furniture or lighting proposed must be an extension of our project, we are looking for originality in the aesthetic. We use it as a scenario in a space. Assembled, they create scenarios. Put together, they create a story."
A lighting system with infinite interpretations, the Luna Chandelier is a synergy of color, shape, and refracted light. Inspired by a lunar halo, the modular light fixture grows in every direction as its assembly system stems horizontally or vertically, stacking color upon color of various blown glass shapes. The Luna series is a glamorous reference to the moon’s diffused light and soft glow. Allusive yet glamorous, the Luna is a new tradition in glass-work and light form. Available in a variety of colors and shapes, Luna is a highly customizable fixture.
